The McBuccaneers are pleased to announce that Howard Baldwin Jr. has joined
the team's advisory committee, a committee put together to better both the
McBuccaneers and the experiences of their fans.
Baldwin, who worked for the Hartford Whalers and Pittsburgh Penguins, has
rich hockey blood in his veins. His father Howard Sr. was the man
responsible for the New England/Hartford Whalers winning an Avco cup in 1973
and In the late 90's as owner of the Pittsburgh Penguins he won two Stanley
cup championships. The McBucc's are elated to have Howard be a part of their
organization for the 2010 - 2011 season.

The Dragons are the "AA" affiliate
of the McBucc's. For the 2010 - 2011 season, the McBucc's look forward to
partnering with Raleigh to develop and grow talent for the pro McBuccaneers.
The McBuccaneers play their home games out of both
the Pavilion in Taylors, South Carolina and the Dream Sports Center in
Raleigh, North Carolina. The McBuccaneers and the Raleigh Dragons are
both in the "PIHA" (Professional inline hockey association) for the 2010
- 2011 season. The McBucc's have their helm led by Paul Bailley and the
Dragons, Ray Matz.
